Self-Catering Terms and Conditions

1. Charges are for 4-5 persons (holiday homes) and up to 6 persons (caravans) full week or short break.
2. We require £100.00 deposit per week/short break (non – refundable).
3. Bookings are non-transferable therefore we recommend that you take out some travel insurance of your own. Once a deposit has been paid & a booking confirmed, a contract exists and you will be liable for the whole of the hire charge, even if you are prevented from taking your holiday.
4. When you reserve your holiday by phone we will need your initial payment by credit/debit card or cheque/postal order within 7 days to secure your holiday.
5. The balance will be due not less than 28 days before arrival. If booking within 28 days of the holiday start date, the full holiday cost must be paid for by credit/debit card at time of booking.
6. Cheques & postal orders should be made payable to Ullswater Caravan Park. Cash should be sent by registered post.
7. Holiday homes & caravans will be available from 3pm day of arrival to 10am day of departure. Accommodation must be left clean & tidy otherwise a charge will be made; damages & breakages will be charged for.
8. We now have a NON-SMOKING POLICY in all our Holiday accommodation.
9. The proprietor reserves the right to re-let holiday homes & caravans if not taken up by 12 noon the next day, unless previously notified.
10. All holiday accommodation is equipped, except for sheets, pillowcases, towels, tea towels & bath mats etc.
11. We are a family park so sorry no single sex parties or young groups are accepted.
12. Holiday homes & caravans are available nightly (minimum 2 nights out in off peak times).
13. At certain times in low or mid season the bar may not be open.

SPECIFICATIONS

Holiday Homes 1,3,4, are provided with central heating in winter months from last week in October to 30th April. 7am-10am & 4pm-11pm. electric fire for summer months. (No dogs accepted in holiday home 3) Holiday Homes 6, 7 and 8 hot water by immersion heater, all have showers. Heating by electric fire. All have 2 bedrooms & bathroom downstairs, kitchen & living area upstairs.

Holiday Home 9 has scenic views of lake Ullswater, living room, kitchen & bathroom (with bath & shower). Sleeps 4, one double & one twin. all electric storage heaters & immersion (metered). (No dogs accepted).

Holiday Homes all 2 bedroomed some with scenic views of lower reaches of lake Ullswater, mains electric (£1 coin metered) hot & cold water, bathroom, W.C. all with showers. Kitchen, fridge, and Colour T.V all sleep 4 persons with one double & one twin or bunk.

Caravans all modern 2/3 bedroomed some with scenic views of lower reaches of Lake Ullswater. All gas and electric inclusive in prices. All mains services, with Colour T.V. Sleep up to 6 persons.
